Does the light still work? You might be able to just cover it up with some red translucent paper and duct tape, for now. Good old engineering, right? That would suck to get pulled over for something like that, but you know, it happens. The only accidents I have been in either didn't include another car, or, the other car was being operated at the time. How much does a tail light covering usually go for, anyway?
